Did you know? Every MYA—BAY jewel is imagined and hand-drawn by our designer Sophie, then made of brass coated with 24-carat gold or rhodium-plated silver — all 100% recycled. So of course, we take care of them, pamper them, and give them a little polish! But how exactly?

Natural beauty is the best! Perfume and cosmetics are jewelry’s worst enemies, so we follow the saying: “A smile is the best make-up a girl can wear.”

Tip #2
You’re not a mermaid… We know water and jewelry don’t mix well. So after contact with fresh water, dry them gently; avoid long swims in the sea and keep your pieces far away from swimming pools!

Tip #3 When it’s cleaning time, let your sweetheart handle it — household cleaning products can damage your jewelry (and your lovely hands too!).

Tip #4 Dance, do yoga, even go skydiving — but without your MYA—BAY! Sweat is great for burning calories, but not so great for your jewelry.
