EARRINGS - JAIPUR

Our JAIPUR earrings are plated with fine gold or covered with silver.

These are Sophie's favorites, our designer, because they are both timeless and contemporary. The design is inspired by the Indian city of Jaipur, which is her favorite city.

In this version, the rings are set with black stones to contrast with the gold or silver color of the jewelry. The small chain that attaches to the clasp is reminiscent of the nose jewelry worn by Indian women.

How to Take Care of Your Jewelry

Did you know? Every MYA—BAY jewel is imagined and hand-drawn by our designer Sophie, then made of brass coated with 24-carat gold or rhodium-plated silver — all 100% recycled. So of course, we take care of them, pamper them, and give them a little polish! But how exactly?

Tip #1
Natural beauty is the best! Perfume and cosmetics are jewelry’s worst enemies, so we follow the saying: “A smile is the best make-up a girl can wear.”

Tip #2
You’re not a mermaid… We know water and jewelry don’t mix well. So after contact with fresh water, dry them gently; avoid long swims in the sea and keep your pieces far away from swimming pools!

Tip #3 When it’s cleaning time, let your sweetheart handle it — household cleaning products can damage your jewelry (and your lovely hands too!).

Tip #4 Dance, do yoga, even go skydiving — but without your MYA—BAY! Sweat is great for burning calories, but not so great for your jewelry.

Tip #5
Your jewelry loves to travel, but not all jumbled together! Keep them in a
small pouch to avoid scratches and tangles on the go.

Tip #6
Like us, they sometimes need a rest. Store your jewelry in its original box to protect it from air and humidity.

Pssst: to avoid tangled chains, leave the clasp sticking out of the box
— disasters usually start at the ends!

Tip #7
Your pieces prefer dry, temperate spots. Avoid leaving them in the bathroom. Create a cozy little corner in your bedroom, away from moisture and direct sunlight, to keep them shiny as long as possible.

Tip #8
A little spa session never hurts! Gently wipe your jewelry with a dry microfiber cloth from time to time to restore its glow.
